HEAL Haiti Health Fair in St. Marc, Haiti April 26, 2013

Dear Prospective Donor,

Health and Education Action League for Haiti (HEAL Haiti) is an organization dedicated to training and mobilizing young leaders to improve healthcare and save lives. Through nursing training and health science education programs, HEAL Haiti aims to develop a cadre of highly skilled health professionals prepared to respond to Haiti’s dire health care needs. In doing so, we will empower an underserved and underutilized population to affect positive change in Haiti. Prospective students are excited and awaiting this excellent and highly anticipated educational opportunity.

We are writing to request your support in launching our first health fair in St. Marc in April 2013. This health fair will help provide highly anticipated medical services and health education to the community, strengthen our relationship with medical professionals and establish HEAL Haiti’s presence in St. Marc. We are seeking financial assistance as well as medical supply donations including, but not limited to the following: first-aid and over-the-counter products, reading glasses, antihypertensive medications, glucometers, hypoglycemic agents, etc.

Your tax-deductible contribution will make a huge difference. Furthermore, you will be acknowledged as a supporter on our website and health fair materials.

Thank you for your consideration, and please do not hesitate to contact me at 646-824-8545 or g.fievre@healhaiti.org with any questions or additional information requests.

Respectfully,
Gretha Fievre,
Founder, HEAL Haiti
