Thank you!

HEAL Haiti invited friends, supporters and guests for a taste of Haitian culture.

We featured Lalo: made with crab, beef and a spinach-like plant found in Artibonite, Haiti. We introduced Oselet: a game played since the 8th century which found its way into Haitian culture.

Thank you to Timothy Warrington and Margarette Daniel Toure for capturing the experience.

We appreciate all who supported despite the rainy day!

2nd Annual Lalo Night & Oselet Tournament

Happy Nurses Week

The American Nurses Association has designated 2017 as “The Year of the Healthy Nurse”.

Take a keen look a the word “Healthy” and you will see that the first four letters spells “Heal”.  We cannot have “health” without “healing”.

Please join HEAL-Haiti in celebrating Nurses week as we strive to empower nurses in Haiti to heal through health education.
